Culinard's Chef Osborne Visits School for Deaf

Chef Antony Osborne, the dean for Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College, recently spoke to students at the Alabama School for the Deaf who are interested in careers in the culinary arts. Chef Osborne was invited to visit by Chef Chris Dupont, the owner and head chef at Café Dupont in Birmingham, and a regular visitor to the school for the hearing impaired. Osborne shared his far-ranging experiences all over the globe during his illustrious culinary career and also told the students of his own hearing problems. He presented the students with gifts of culinary hats and cutlery that they will be able to use in the classes Chef Dupont conducts at the school.
