Birmingham, Alabama-based Education Corporation of America (ECA) has announced a new addition to its marketing staff as well as a new focus for another key member of the team. Jason Mann has served as Marketing Director for the company's Virginia College for the past two years. He will now concentrate on several new projects that the company is developing.

Chuck Trierweiler, Chief Marketing Officer for ECA, says, "Jason has done a great job of building the relationship between Marketing and our various campuses and was instrumental in getting our nursing programs launched in Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Jackson. His knowledge and skills are perfect for ensuring that we get these new ventures underway as quickly and successfully as possible."

Trierweiler also announced the addition of Marla Cureton to the staff. Ms. Cureton will assume Mann's responsibilities as Marketing Director with the Virginia College campuses, based at ECA's corporate headquarters in Inverness. She brings a strong background in marketing, having worked with such companies as Procter & Gamble, The Home Depot, and, most recently Primedia in Atlanta. She holds a bachelor degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and earned the MBA from the University of Michigan.
