Newest Virginia College Campus Begins Enrolling Students in Augusta, GA

Posted: Thursday, April 16, 2009

All the buzz in Augusta, Georgia, this week was not about The Masters golf tournament.  The newest campus for Virginia College began enrolling new students this week in Augusta.  The school, located at 2807 Wylds Road, already had over a hundred inquiries about classes before marketing for the school even began on Monday, April 13.

"Our welcome to Augusta has been tremendous," says Campus President Chris Moore.  "Potential employers have all told us how excited they are that Virginia College will be providing them with well-trained graduates, ready to go to work.  Now the interest from potential students has been wonderful as well."

The school is busy renovating an existing building for classrooms and labs and is presently operating from a temporary office nearby.  Admissions Associates and Financial Planners are helping students decide on which career path to pursue and how to pay for their education with minimal obligation after graduation.  The staff and faculty will move into the new facility in late June and classes are scheduled to begin in mid-July.

Virginia College recently opened on-ground campuses in Jacksonville, Florida, and Greenville, South Carolina.  Augusta brings the total number of schools to twelve.  Virginia College also offers classes online via the Internet to more than 6,000 students.
