Huntsville Campus Helps 160 Kids with Back to School Supplies

A few supplies and some encouragement helps kids start the school year right. So Virginia College students in Huntsville decided to provide both for the less fortunate in their community.
Just before the start of school, Virginia College Huntsville Business Club (VCHBC) sponsored a Back to School Festival. Over 160 children received school supplies and back packs (donated by students, staff and faculty) and more than 70 kids remained to take part in the day's festivities, including moon bounce, slide, face painting, ring toss, duck pond, basketball hoop, and a watermelon eating contest.
