Virginia College Jacksonville Campus Welcomes State Ed Group, Honors Legislator

The recent regional meeting of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges was hosted by the Jacksonville, Florida, campus of Virginia College. In addition to providing facilities for the meeting, the school's new cooking school, Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College, prepared the luncheon. As part of the meeting, the group recognized its legislator of the year, Senator Stephen R. Wise. Senator Wise spoke to the group as well.
"We were delighted to welcome the group to our new campus," said Virginia College/Jacksonville president Milton Anderson. "They had the opportunity to see our facilities and meet some of our students. We appreciated the opportunity to have them visit."
