Virginia College Huntsville Taps Inductees into Alpha Beta Kappa

Last week, the Sigma of Alabama chapter of the Alpha Beta Kappa honor society tapped nominees for the August 13 induction ceremony into the national honor society. Campus administrators including President Jim Foster, Dr. James Hicks, Academic Dean and Mr. Rick Seibert, Associate Academic Dean came to each student's class and presented a formal letter of invitation to them for induction into the honor society. They also explained the criteria for membership to the class and then invited the nominees as well as their friends and family to the formal induction ceremony on August 13.
To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
The student must be nominated by their Academic Advisor,
Have an overall GPA of 3.75 or higher,
Have no more than 2 C's,
Have an overall attendance of 90%,
Must be a graduating student.
