Virginia College at Pensacola Gives Gifts for Year-round Sharing

Employees at Virginia College in Pensacola, in the spirit of perpetual giving, contributed a total of 103 teddy bears during its recent holiday party. Members of the administration, faculty, and staff donated the toys to the Pensacola Fire Department and the Pensacola Police Department. Dr. Sara Lawhorne, campus president, presented the bears to representatives of each organization as they visited the Virginia College campus on Monday, December 21st.
The bears will be used throughout the community to calm and comfort children who are experiencing stressful situations.
A teddy bear is a faithful friend.
You can pick him up at either end.
His fur is the color of breakfast toast
And he's always there when you need him most.
